移民法（Ley 6984/2022）では、Ley 4986/2013（SUACE）に基づく投資を証明した外国人は、一時居住を経ずに永住を得られる（第46条）。投資の証明には商工省（MIC）の投資家証明書（CIE）が必要で、最低投資額は、生産的投資（工業・商業・サービス。正規雇用5人以上）USD 70,000、金融商品による投資（2年以上保有、毎年報告）USD 200,000、不動産投資（自己・家族の使用目的を除く）USD 200,000、観光投資 USD 150,000（MIC 決議 Res. 283/2026 附属書 I 第1条 g）。移民局の案内では、永住の身分証（carnet）は10年ごとに更新する。
Under the Migration Law (Law 6984/2022), foreigners who prove investments under Law 4986/2013 (SUACE) may obtain permanent residence without first holding temporary residence (Art. 46). Proof requires an Investor Certificate (CIE) from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC). Minimum investments are USD 70,000 for productive investments (industry, commerce or services, with at least five formal jobs), USD 200,000 through financial instruments (held for at least two years, reported annually), USD 200,000 in real estate (excluding purchases for personal or family use) and USD 150,000 in tourism (MIC Resolution 283/2026, Annex I, Art. 1(g)). According to the Migration Directorate, the residence card is renewed every ten years.
